Neko Health is a healthcare technology company co-founded in 2018 by a Swedish engineer Hjalmar Nilsonne and Spotify founder Daniel Ek. It is a private category of affordable healthcare.
These services are delivered by clinicians who specialise in preventive medicine. This also includes free-follow ups, referral letters, and introduction to specialists, if advised by clinician. The user is stripped down to underwear for this scan. The measurements are skin & tissue imaging, ECG and arterial analysis, biometric tests, and grip strength, intra-ocular pressure, auscultation test, skin examination. Body composition which includes visceral and body fat, without the need for a DEXA or MRI. Blood biomarkers will also be used in conjunction to the imaging and assesssments. The results will be avilable to share with your GP on the Neko app. A Neko Health Scan goes for £299.
