How medicine and healthcare affect us in the smallest of ways leading to bigger impacts and life-changing consequences! Ultimately, changing what we call ‘healthcare.’

Suicide. Solution?

Medical healthcare is crucial for everyone. Doctors tend to be the neglected few. One forgotten is far too much to lose. One doctor left behind untreated is far too many, among the chosen few not just for patients but for society as a whole.

Psychiatry is complex phenomena. It’s all around us, it goes unseen, unheard and unnoticed until it’s on the papers or made hearsay. Environment, family, education, job, dowry, marriage are all the stresses of life that we carry as a burden. It’s a burden until it all comes crashing down, likened to the aggressive waves pushing you to the depths of the water, never to have your body return to the surface of the shore. Never to be seen or heard from again. Your family is left distraught. There are more questions than answers until you’ve become the next headline.

You’re nothing but a story.

A report that millions call a statistic. So many more yet to come.

Suicide isn’t an answer but an option. An option of eliminating other options. Toxicity is ominously persistent and present. It’s in every cracks of societal decay.

Group intelligence in the positive approach, is the ethical way to go for our humanitarian rights. We can achieve so much more if we stand up to our morals and values and not condemn ourselves for the dreams, we have made real and possible. Years of hard work, we can do better than this for a younger group of working future doctors. Reparations are a must. A lack of this, gives us a cold and distant future, one that makes us believe in our setbacks for the better worsts.

Degrading someone verbally is not educating. It feels like a ‘toxic intern culture’ that we have dedicated to bring to normalcy.  Threatening brings in more chaos, more destruction, it fuels unjust thoughts and actions. And we need to stop this. The world is full of suffering, we are adding more burdensome thoughts to the already existing tumultuous environment.

It’s time to advocate for a change. A workplace of love, unity, positivity and happiness. One where we learn to love our jobs and learn to embrace the need for thought, most importantly to teach and guide the rest of humanity with love.

After all, when there is a love of humanity, is when the real healing takes place!
