The vape pen has liquid that contains propylene glycol and glycerol as the base to create the vapour, it is also speculated to have artificial flavours, nicotine, THC and cannabinoid (CBD) oil. On the side in favor of the argument, nicotine is present so there’s still more or less a risk of harm. There are cases of EVALI. EVALI stands for vaping use-associated lung injury. This disease is linked to e-cigarettes. Vitamin E acetate is illegally used as a thickener in these e-cigarettes making them lethal. Patients suffering from EVALI have to rely on medication to keep the lungs running, to keep up with the body’s immune system requirements that are essential day-to-day.
